1999: Humble Beginnings
In 1999, our family with a love for cooking opened MAGEA Restaurant at the lovely seaside area of polemi. We focused on serving comforting, home-cooked meals made from family recipes. It wasn’t about being fancy, but about creating a place where everyone felt at home with familiar, heartwarming flavors. The surrounding trees and greenery added a peaceful touch, making every meal feel like a special experience.
Growing Together (Mid 2000s - 2010)
As MAGEA grew, so did its connection with the community. We made small renovations to the space over the years, improving the restaurant while maintaining its welcoming, homey feel. Locals gathered regularly, enjoying their meals in the warmth of the restaurant, with the panoramic sea view providing a relaxing atmosphere.
Evolving with Care (2010 - 2015)
By 2010, MAGEA had earned a special place in the hearts of the community. The family continued to renovate and improve the restaurant, enhancing the space to offer a better dining experience while preserving the warmth and charm guests had come to love. The lush greenery around the restaurant helped create a tranquil, inviting environment for every meal. The menu grew, offering new dishes alongside cherished favorites.
Serving with Heart (2015 - 2020)
By this time, MAGEA became a place to gather and celebrate. The family kept the menu diverse, using fresh ingredients, and introduced delivery so people could enjoy the food on the beach. The restaurant remained a beloved spot, where the peaceful green surroundings and good food made it a favorite gathering place.
A New Era (2020 - Present)
In the last two years, the three sons of the family began to take the reins of MAGEA, ushering in a new chapter for the restaurant. They continue to honor the family’s legacy of quality food and warm hospitality, while bringing their own vision to the restaurant. Even during challenging times, the family adapted, focusing on delivery and take-out so their loyal customers could still enjoy their favorite meals. Today, MAGEA remains in the same location, surrounded by the beauty of trees and greenery, continuing as a thriving family-owned restaurant with a deep love for food, family, and community.
